Tell us about your work.
I work at University Hospitals in Radiation Safety with the Diagnostic Medical Physicist group.
What made you decide to get into this field?
I got into medical physics by pure chance. I was working as a Biomedical Engineer when I learned about the field and was instantly drawn towards it, wanting to learn more. With the guidance of a great mentor and support from everyone around me, I'm proud to say that I'm now on my way to becoming a Medical Physicist.
Why do you enjoy tutoring?
I understand that we all have different ways of learning, so I make sure to alter my teaching approach according to the needs of each student. I love making math and science simple and fun!
What do you like to do in your free time?
When not working, I like to spend time with my family. Whether we're exploring Metroparks or discovering new playgrounds, I love to get outdoors with my 4-year-old daughter. I also enjoy listening to podcasts and audiobooks.
What are you reading right now?
I'm currently reading Clarity and Connection by Yung Pueblo. I've really enjoyed it so far and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good personal transformation read.
